Member Shoutout:

Celebration for Laura Allred –

GFCO Regulatory Manager

GFCO Regulatory Manager Laura Allred recently received word that the AOAC Gluten Working Group on Method Validation Guidelines, which she chaired, has been selected to receive the 2026 Award in Recognition of Technical and Scientific Excellence! This prestigious award recognizes teams whose work has made a significant impact through scientific rigor, technical leadership, and meaningful contributions to the analytical community.

While that title may be a mouthful, the impact is simple and meaningful: Laura's work is helping advance the science behind gluten testing and detection, making the gluten-free world safer and more reliable for all of us. We are incredibly proud to have her as part of the gluten-free community and our team. We can't wait to see what she accomplishes next!
