This month's virtues are Respect and Responsibility. Respect is treating others politely and kindly, with high regard. Responsibility is doing your part for the groups that make us whole.

Middle Schoolers Return from Hulbert

Sixth through eighth graders had a blast at Hulbert Outdoor Center last week. Their days were filled with leadership education, team building exercises, and friendship strengthening. This important Hulbert trip tradition sets a standard for the school year. Our middle schoolers are ready to lead by example, help each other out, and work hard!

Second and Third Grade Harvesters

On the last day together as second graders, the students planted seedlings of corn and red runner beans they had germinated in the classroom. The corn was to be a gift to the new crop of second graders and the beans were a promise for their future as third graders. On Friday, the second graders had roasted corn on the cob with their lunches and the third graders brought home beans. Well done third graders! We hope to make this a new second and third grade tradition.
