Dear Friends,
There is such a stirring for 2025. Already this year we have seen thousands of lives touched by Jesus in services. We have ministered already in AL, FL, TX and Canada. In every gathering we have experienced 3 things that have taken place:
1. A hunger like we have not seen in years.
2. An overwhelming presence of the Lord that fills the house from the beginning until the end of the service.
3. A deep stirring throughout the crowd for MORE!
I believe that we are in a window of grace like never before. Could this be the year that the weary become strong, the hurting will be healed, and the lost become found? We know that James 5:8 says,” Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” In other words, PUT HIM FIRST!
This brings me to a dream that I had on a cold and quiet January night of this year. I remember being particularly tired that night. The minute I closed my eyes I began to dream. In my dream I suddenly saw Jesus standing in front of a large door. In the dream, I knew that it was a church. He said to me, “Pat, what will it take for them to realize that if I am invited in, I will meet them where they are at”. I said, “Lord, so many are tired and weary." He said, “I will refresh my bride. Tell them to invite me in. I am coming to my house.” I said, “Lord, I will tell them”. Lastly, he said, “I long to be in the house that desires me. I will meet them and renew their spirits”. I then awoke suddenly. I was so upset that I had awoke. It had been a while since I had experienced something of this nature. I found myself overwhelmed by His love and yet, longing for the dream to happen again.
I was instantly reminded of the verses in Song of Solomon 5. This chapter speaks of His devotion to the bride and His desire for the bride to answer the door. While, I must admit, I have rarely taught on the Song of Solomon I felt I must go study it. This chapter represents so much. It represents the desire of the bride to once again experience the bride-groom. It also intimates that it had been a long dry season since the last encounter. I truly believe this is what I felt in my dream.
Song of Solomon 5:2 (TPT), “After this I let my devotion slumber, but my heart for him stayed awake. I had a dream. I dreamed of my beloved; he was coming to me in the darkness of night. The melody of the man I love awakened me. I heard his knock at my heart’s door as he pleaded with me: Arise, my love. Open your heart, my darling, deeper still to me. Will you receive me this dark night?”
God is calling his church to awaken into this new season. Karen and I both feel so strongly that 2025 is the year of “Rebirth.” Our verse has been Isaiah 43:18-19. BEHOLD HE IS DOING A NEW THING!
In Song of Solomon 5, it goes on to say that the bride was slow to answer the door. When she finally answered, He was gone. But I saw something I had never seen before. The Bible says in S.O.S. 5:5, “I arose to open for my beloved, and my hands dripped with myrrh, my fingers with flowing myrrh, on the handles of the bolt." Why were her hands covered in Myrrh. There are a couple of reasons.
1. She had anointed herself to receive Him.
2. Myrrh was a precious perfume and embalming oil, and in the Bible, it symbolizes death and mourning.
We know that James 5:8 says, “Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” Could S.O.S. 5 and James 5:8 be intertwined? I think so. After all the Book of James is often considered the Proverbs of the New Testament. Could it be that God is saying if you are to greet me wash your hands of this world and cover your hands with the anointing. As Psalm 24:3-6 (NIV) declares, “Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god.”
We truly believe this is season to invite Jesus into your home, your ministry and your business. When He invades everything changes; for the better. Let him interrupt, disrupt and thus transform. When He knocks don’t delay.
In closing, our heart is to say to the church, the bride must get prepared. He is soon to arrive. Let us remember Rev. 3:20, “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.” Let us listen for his voice! Let us answer the door with eager expectation. The invitation has been sent from heaven. Let us not sleep our way into a benediction of what could have been. Be refreshed! Be renewed. You are His bride.
May the year 2025 be a Year of Rebirth and Renewal! If we can serve you in any way just let us know.
Sincerely,
Pat and Karen Schatzline
