I just heard the craziest thing, Sunset Pool is OPEN! What's better than getting done with school and heading to the pool? Not being in school at all and spending ALL day at the pool and park with friends and family!

EASD's last day of school is tomorrow! The graduating class will walk on Saturday, May 30th and then school is officially out for the summer. Congrats to all the teachers, students and staff and all their hard work and determination to finish up the school year.



Summer fun is just beginning! And that also means hundreds of kids are looking for summer employment! Don't forget to update those job posters and HIRING flyers to catch the eye of all the eager teens looking to land their first of many summer jobs!

And let's not forget all the teaching staff who have their eyes and ears open on the hunt for seasonal employment! The hiring pool just got a little bit deeper now that the 2025-26 school year is over.

On Wednesday, June 3rd, beginning at approximately

2:10 p.m., Lakeland School Special Olympics athletes will be escorted by the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office through the City of Elkhorn for a special send-off to the Olympic Games in Whitewater, WI. As you know from years past, we will begin our journey from Lakeland School down County Road NN, to Wisconsin St. with a loop around the square.

What do we need from you? Step outside your office if you are able and cheer them on. Create a sign to celebrate their achievements. Join us in recognizing and honoring these outstanding students and athletes for their incredible accomplishments. 

This role combines front desk responsibilities with clinical support to ensure a smooth,

welcoming experience for every patient.

Responsibilities include:

 Greeting patients and managing check-in/check-out

 Scheduling appointments and answering phones

 Assisting Nurse Practitioner during patient visits

 Taking vitals and updating patient records

 Performing blood draws and handling lab specimens

 Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional clinic environment
