EYC Newsletter

September Edition

High School EYC meets on Sundays following the 10:30 service. We'll gather in the Parish Hall, walk to our lunch destination, and return around 1! Some days we might walk to a local restaurant or if you would like to sponsor a lunch, please reach out or click here! It would be much appreciated!!

Rev. Katie and I are looking for people to help with Sunday AV Streaming. During training, we will demonstrate the use of the streaming equipment and encourage high school students to volunteer to stream the 10:30 services on Sundays!

HAPPENING #62 is a weekend renewal retreat for all 10th-12th grade students. The weekend is presented by teens for teens. Through videos, skits, talks, and more, Happeners (those attending Happening for the first time) see how God and their faith fit in with the ups and downs of high school life. Happening is designed to help youth feel the love of God and their Christian community. I'm so excited to announce that Lucy Stevenson is the Lay Rector for this Happening; she'll be leading the Happening weekend by guiding discussions and creating a safe place for her peers to relax and draw near to God. On Mondays from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM in the Undercroft, Middle School EYC will gather together in fellowship! We had an amazing turnout last month, and I'm really looking forward to what next month will bring!

Sally is showcasing Group 2's (aka "Burritos") brilliant creation that will win them the most creative award!

EYC is applying what they learned about building a strong foundation on Christ (Luke 6:46-49) to a friendly competition of who can build the strongest tower!
