REBA New Lawyers Section Webinar on November 10th

Stop Running

Please join REBA’s New Lawyers Section for a webinar, which is open to all REBA members, from 12 to 1 pm on Tuesday, November 10, 2026. Jonathan White, managing attorney and founder of Jordan & White, LLC, will present.

Lawyers learn early on that getting ahead means staying in motion. Take the next file, answer the next email, never be the one who drops the ball…For a while, it works, but eventually, the habits that built your career will start to cost something, and that pace you’re keeping will feel less like a choice and more like a necessity.

Jonathan will share the story of how he learned this lesson. He spent years using achievement to outrun a family history he did not want to face. What finally got his attention was a therapist, a room above an old armory, and a handful of men who told him the truth. He thought that had settled it. Then, a summer day on Cape Cod showed him it did not.

Jonathan will discuss the four practices that changed how he works and lives, and what happens when the old pace comes back anyway. This program is geared towards newer lawyers, and any lawyer who has ever felt the burden of keeping that pace. Attendees will learn how to spot this pattern in their work and practical ways to interrupt it, again and again.

Video recordings of most of REBA's webinar presentations are available in the Video Section of reba.net. For a list of all REBA webinars and programs, click here.
