Dear Pastor Dwight,
It is difficult to know where to begin to thank you for all that you have done to help the partnership between the Congregational Church of Patchogue and BAFFA get off to such a great start. Certainly, you went above and beyond for us. First, you took the time to meet with us to discuss the possibility of BAFFA rehearsing and performing in your beautiful church. Then you campaigned for us with your governing members. You worked hard to find a price we could afford. After that, you were always there to answer our questions and help us solve problems. (Like with storage.) You promoted our concert not just with your congregation but also with the local press and Patchogue Chamber of Commerce. Then you were there to help us out at the concert.
I think we can all agree that the concert was fabulous. Your church looked extra beautiful as it was decorated for the season, and it set the tone for everyone as they walked into the sanctuary that there was going to be something very special about to happen…and they were correct.
As you are aware, we gave the audience surveys to complete to help us better plan on how to make the public aware of BAFFA and all that we have to offer. The guests were asked to rate the concert from 1-5 (with five being the highest) and all but one of those who responded scored it as a 5. (The anomaly rated it a 4.) I would like to share some of the many very positive comments with you. These are exact quotes.

Please send our sincere thanks to your custodian and to Will. They could not have been more accommodating or helpful and we appreciate it very much. We eagerly look forward to seeing the video when Will is done with it.
Please also extend our thanks to your congregation for allowing us to play in your church as well as for the warm reception we received.
It is very clear that the Congregational Church of Patchogue was the place to be last Sunday afternoon. We can only expect that our next concert will be even better attended as well as much anticipated. BTW – We had over 210 people in the audience.
While we did run into some challenges that we were not anticipating, we think that all can be easily remedied. At some point following the holidays, perhaps we can meet with you to discuss them so that our next concert will be even better.
Meanwhile, best wishes to you for a wonderful Christmas and we truly look forward to continuing our partnership.
Sincerely,
Donna Smosky
BAFFA President
