Bright and Gorgeous!

Congratulations to Brandon and the team at Charged on their new space! Charged is designed to be different. They are a full-service fitness and recovery center, with the goal of helping people get more out of life. They are about getting to the root cause, creating a custom plan, and guiding you along the way. They will help you find your Spark again!

Thank you Kati and Tina!

Thank you to Kati Bachmayer and Tina Goodroad from the City of Lakeville for another great tour of our little city! There is a lot of development happening around town and it is always fun to showcase it. Now you all can impress your neighbors when they ask “what is being built there?”. Thank you to Frandsen Bank & Trust and Minnesota Energy Resources for sponsoring GML2025, to Schmitty & Sons & Gray Line MN for donating the bus and to Dunn Brothers for the delicious breakfast sandwiches and hot coffee. See you next month!

See you next month!

We love our teachers!

This week’s teacher breakfast was at All Saints (well afternoon snack for this one). We were so distracted by the smell of the Hy-Vee brownie trays that we forgot to take a photo! We are so thankful to Lakeview Bank for sponsoring our teacher breakfasts this year. They are sharing their Legacy Award scholarship details with each school. If you know some seniors, and a citizen volunteer, who deserve some recognition and a scholarship – consider nominating them for a Legacy Award in 2026!

Speaking of Schools,

it’s that time of year

Join the Chamber and Lakeville Area Schools for this annual update. Superintendent Baumann will share what is happening at our schools this year, including a breakdown of the levy question on the ballot this year. In addition, I will give a quick update on the work we are partnering on through our Lakeville Works program. Click the link to register.

ValleyScare

Select Nights

September 20 - November 1, 2025

Nothing is as it screams during ValleyScare at Valleyfair. The park has been fully transformed for a terrifying Halloween celebration,

where nothing is as it screams.

Horrors lurk in foggy corners, and haunts await your presence. Brave the night for ValleyScare and encounter spine-tingling chills in our ambient Scare Zones, or unwind by watching one of our scary-good live shows. Plus, true horror fans can unlock new fears with our exclusive, pay-to-panic Haunted Mazes!* And don’t forget — a trip to Valleyfair wouldn’t be complete without a ride or three on Renegade. It’s even scarier after dark!

Gather your friends and prepare for fright: the park of your dreams becomes a nightmare this Halloween at Valleyfair.

A warning for the wary — ValleyScare is an intensely scary Halloween event and is not recommended for children younger than 13.

From the top...

… It’s in my kitchen, but still….
