There are a couple of room updates beginning this Sunday: the Pete Creasy class will begin meeting in room 131 (the former Berean classroom behind the Welcome Center), and the Barnabas class will move to room 107 on the first floor of the gym building. Walk with Jesus class continues in the library. If you don't currently attend Sunday School, click here for our 2026-27 Sunday School brochure and pick a class to try out this week!
During Morning Worship at 10:30 AM, Travis continues in his series in the Gospel of John with a message titled "Listen. Recognize. Follow," and the scripture is John 10:27. We will also hear from our recommended candidate for Minister of Communications & Pastoral Care, Rev. Kim Yonce. At the conclusion of morning worship, we will have a Called Business Meeting to vote on this position. Please click the following links for more information: the current job description for Minister of Communications & Pastoral Care and the cover letter/resume for Kim Yonce. If you cannot worship with us in person, please watch online at vintonbaptistchurch.org.
If you purchased tickets for this Sunday's Youth Choir Fundraiser Luncheon featuring chili and potato soup, please plan to join us in the kitchen/gym after worship.

HVAC Update
Our total needed to finish out the HVAC project is roughly $238,850. We now stand at $235,295. That means we only need $3,555 to finish paying for this HUGE project! You have been faithfully giving each week for months, and we are so very thankful. Please use an HVAC envelope or note HVAC somewhere on your check or envelope when you give this week so that we can pay off this project in full! You can give online by clicking here and noting your gift for the HVAC fund.
| | Please join us in officially welcoming Les & Margaret Shepherd to our congregation. They joined by letter this past Sunday, October 11th. Les & Margaret, we are so thankful for you and your presence and participation at Vinton Baptist Church. Welcome! | | | |

Bible Reading Plan
Kudos to all who continue to read along with our Bible reading plan this year! We're scheduled to begin the book of Romans this Saturday. It is the first letter that we are reading that is attributed to Paul. It is also a long letter, especially compared with some of Paul's other letters like Philemon and Galatians. BibleProject offers an excellent introduction and exposition of the first 4 chapters of Romans, which will carry us into next week. Click here for the link. Happy reading!
