Dear Friends,
BrasArte is more than happy to be presenting SF Bay Brazilian Day & Lavagem 2022. As you all know it has been a difficult year with the passing of our beloved Conceicao. Of all the programs that BrasArte produces throughout the year, this is the one she was most proud of. She always gave one hundred percent of herself; and when the body was no longer willing, she was there one hundred percent in spirit.
For a time, this year's festival wasn't meant to be. I was told by the owners of the lot we use that it would not be available to us because the property was in escrow. I almost gave up; but something (or somebody) made me give it a last try, and I was informed that the escrow fell through and we could use the lot!
So we are moving ahead at short notice, but we need help. We need $$, we need volunteers and we need help spreading the word. So please help in any way you can.
It's going to be a great celebration of life. It was Conceicao's favorite party of the year and we know she loved a good party!
I hope you can make it.
Nick for BrasArte
