Mike and Grace Mueller

Mike & Grace Mueller and family have been residents of Brazeau County for may years. Mike grew up on a farm not that far from where he now currently resides and farms. During Mikes ongoing time farming he has seen and implemented a variety of new and innovative farming practices. He has seen lands be plowed and now implements mostly zero till practices.

After leaving the Cattle industry, Mike has been focusing on forage and crop. In that work he always tests new varieties to see what is better to be growing out in the Brazeau County area! Being one of the first to try growing alfalfa out in this area, Mike continues to test new innovation and create new processes himself.

This year Mike has agreed to partner with Farming Forward and we are planting a Hemp intercropping project. This will be testing what other species of perennial forage that intercrop well with Hemp. We hope to do many projects in the years to come!

April is Brazeau County Shout out Month!
