Standard IEEE 1560

Feedback Needed

The EMC Society is starting an effort to renew one of the more widely used standards, IEEE 1560, "IEEE Standard for Methods of Measurement of Radio Frequency Power Line Interference Filter in the Range of 100 Hz to 10 GHz".

As we start the process of renewal, we want to hear any and all comments on this standard from the community, especially anyone who works with the current version regularly. Does it work well? Do you have any grumbles about places where it's unclear? Is it something you use regularly?

When we form the working group for renewal we will send out a separate call for volunteers. Right now this is a call for feedback. Please provide any and all comments, suggestions, and/or gripes about IEEE 1560 by filling out the feedback form linked below. Standards leadership within the IEEE EMC Society will collect all comments to help shape the discussions moving forward. Feedback received by May 6 will be included in the renewal evaluation planning process.

Thank you for your assistance!
