The Mount Vernon Christian School board continued its work on strengthening school leadership, governance, and strategic planning. Discussion included updates on the master building plan and capital campaign, along with progress toward a strategic plan and recommendations for board committees and policies. The board also approved support for superintendent professional development and a finance committee proposal regarding the use of the earnings of the estate gift for further building or repairs. Board members continued their learning together through Guiding Schools to Flourish and reviewed next steps and assignments for the coming month.
