Governor Abbott Proclaims 2026 Chamber Of Commerce Week In Texas | | |
Governor Greg Abbott today celebrated Texas chambers of commerce and their invaluable contributions in supporting entrepreneurs and businesses with opportunities to grow and create jobs by proclaiming October 19-23, 2026, as Chamber of Commerce Week in Texas.
“Texas’ thriving entrepreneurial spirit is a driving force behind our state’s economic success,” said Governor Abbott. “By supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses, the backbone of the Texas economy, chambers help create new opportunities, strengthen communities, and foster a positive vision for the future."
Each October, Chamber of Commerce Week is celebrated to recognize the important work of chambers in communities across our state — from business expansion efforts, workforce development initiatives and networking opportunities to specialized services and resources tailored to their community.
