From Delay to Divine Impact: Kenya Mission 2026

I don’t think I have a large enough vocabulary to express how our last mission trip to Kenya went. February 15-March 6, 2026, had days that were thrilling, amazing, exhilarating, and full of unexpected surprises (not that any surprise is expected…).

From our inception, I have characterized every trip as EPIC; well, this one was the most EPIC of all the EPICS!! Even though we arrived in-country a day later than planned (thanks to the Kenya airport workers strike…UGH!), and arrived home a day later than planned (thanks to the airspace being closed and our return-trip flights being canceled…double UGH!!), this trip had so many high points that I am still living in a state of “did all that really happen??!!”

REALLY long story short, we ministered to over 1,000 people in 11 places (and we didn’t even make it to our 3 Nairobi schools because of the day’s delay); went to a brand new area we’d never visited before; we participated in and hosted a wedding; and we are opening an orphanage for 36 children who’ve been living on the streets. If you did not know that we have been doing the work of the ministry before, you should certainly know it now! God has opened some big doors and offered some tremendous opportunities for us to advance His Kingdom and share His love for people.

I could go on and on and on and on about all the many facets of this last trip, but time would be better spent allowing you to see some of the photos.

Turkana Mission Recap – Lodwar 🇰🇪

The Turkana Mission was a powerful and life-changing outreach in the remote regions of Lodwar, in Turkana County. The mission began with a vibrant Sunday Service that set the tone for an impactful three-day conference, led by Pastor Dr. Steve Cassell, Minister Mitchell Faith, and Donna V. Werner. Through powerful teaching, prayer, and fellowship, many were encouraged, strengthened, and renewed in their faith.

A highlight of the mission was reaching communities in some of the most remote areas of Turkana through two separate open-air crusades. In these gatherings, the team shared the goodness and love of the Lord with people who rarely have access to such ministry opportunities.

Each meeting was not only a time of spiritual encouragement but also a moment of practical support. Foodstuffs were distributed to the local communities, bringing relief and hope to many families. The Turkana Mission was a beautiful expression of faith in action—sharing the Gospel while meeting real needs and bringing hope to the heart of Turkana.

A New Beginning in Turkana: The Birth of Beloved Destiny Children’s Home

During the mission in Turkana County, the team encountered a moment that would become one of the most significant milestones of the entire outreach. After spending time visiting and ministering to street children in Lodwar, the reality of their daily struggles deeply moved the team. Seeing the need firsthand stirred compassion and a renewed sense of purpose.

In a particularly powerful moment, Pastor Dr. Steve Cassell of Beloved Church was especially touched by the children’s situation. What began as a moment of ministry quickly grew into a vision for lasting change. Out of that experience, Beloved Destiny Children’s Home was born—a place that will provide hope, care, and a new future for children who have been living on the streets.

Through this initiative, Pastor Steve and his ministry are committing to rescue, feed, and support street children, offering them not only nourishment but also safety, guidance, and the opportunity for a better life. This development marks a powerful step forward in extending compassion beyond a single mission trip and building a lasting legacy of care.

The birth of Beloved Destiny Children’s Home stands as a testimony that when hearts respond to need, real transformation can begin. It is more than a project—it is a promise of hope for vulnerable children in Turkana and a new chapter of impact for the community.

Together for the Children: Launching the Genesis Junior Centre Lunch Program

A beautiful new chapter begins as Dorcas Destiny International partners with United Kingdom Destiny Ministerial Fellowship to launch a School Lunch Program for 115 children at Genesis Junior Centre.

Through this meaningful partnership, children will receive nutritious meals that support their health, concentration, and ability to learn in school. This initiative goes beyond providing food—it is about nurturing hope, strengthening young lives, and creating an environment where every child has the opportunity to grow and succeed.

Together, this collaboration is making a tangible difference—feeding minds, strengthening futures, and reminding these children that they are seen, valued, and supported.

Love Sealed in Covenant



With grateful hearts, we celebrate the beautiful covenant wedding of Marion and Leo, a sacred union built on Faith, Love, and lifelong commitment before God.

Surrounded by family, friends, and witnesses of faith, they stepped into a new chapter of purpose together. The ceremony was graciously officiated by Dr. Pastor Steve Cassell of Steve Cassell Ministries, whose blessing and guidance made the moment even more special.

May their marriage be filled with God's grace, joy, and enduring love as they walk this journey together.
