Greetings!
Welcome to your Fire Replicas April Newsletter! I hope this month's connection finds you doing well.
Good news...at least for now...our shipments have caught up with our release schedule and every project that we have released is now in stock. It seems like the congestion in the Port of LA has subsided, but due to the COVID-related shutdowns in Asia, the congestion has now relocated across the Pacific. Our first factory shipment following Chinese New Year has already been delayed 30 days. So just when we think were getting back to normal....
Last month we received two shipments including the FDNY 1982-83 American LaFrance Pumpers, Mack B61 Dump Trucks, LA County Engine 51 and the FDNY Tiller Ladders for Brooklyn's L147 and L175. Feels good to be caught up.
This month, we'll be accepting orders for FDNY's Ten Truck, now outfitted with aluminum rims and under-ladder accessories. Also coming this month will be the classic FDNY Mack R Rescue 2, Collapse Rescue 3 and Rescue 5. Rounding out April, this year's set of KME Engines for FDNY will replenish the modern pumpers for the Big Apple.
A couple of weeks ago, we released the LA County 1973 Ward LaFrance Engine 51 and were pleasantly surprised that the first shipment sold out in about 7 minutes! We'll be accepting orders for the 2nd shipment sometime in late June. If you're interested and you haven't done so already, make sure you sign up for early ordering through the EMERGENCY! ONLY group.
Over the past few newsletters, we've given a glimpse on what's to come this Summer. This month, you'll see a sneak peek of the classic International 4070B Transtar II. We're excited about what 2022 holds in store for new releases...this one is no exception.
Thank you again for being part of the elite group of Fire Replicas collectors. We hope each of you has a great month of April!
Nicholas
