If your business is interested in hosting a Blount Chamber coffee club in 2026, contact Amy Lawson. The fee is $600. You provide coffee, drinks, refreshments, cups, and napkins. The Chamber handles the publicity.

BOB Nominations Open

The Blount Partnership's Best of Blount Awards are returning to the grand ballroom at the Airport Hilton on February 6, 2026. The awards celebrate those individuals and businesses that give their time and resources to make this area an outstanding place to live and work.

 

Awards are given for Philanthropist of the Year, Community Impact Award, Bright Future Award, Small and Large Business of the Year, Young Professional of the Year, First Responder Award, and the Tourism Award. Nominations are open, so please submit the name of someone you think is deserving by submitting a nomination here until October 17.

Afternoon Mixer

Join us October 9 at Dollywood's HeartSong Lodge & Resort for an afternoon mixer.

Mixers are designed to offer members the opportunity to build business relationships with other members and to gain exposure for their business or organization in an "open house" setting and open to anyone associated with a Chamber member business.

AI for MFG Workshop

The AI for Manufacturing Workshop is being held October 16 from 8 a.m.-noon at the University of Tennessee TN MADE Facility (2030 Valley Vista Rd., Knoxville)


This program is designed for manufacturing leaders seeking to understand how AI can be practically applied to accelerate improvement and productivity. Hear from industry experts, faculty leaders, and manufacturers who are already putting AI to work on the factory floor.


Attendees have the opportunity to tour the TN MADE facility, network with peers, and explore practical applications that can benefit Tennessee businesses of all sizes.

Small Business Saturday

The Blount Partnership wants to celebrate Small Business Saturday on November 29 with you! It’s a special holiday created so communities can show love for small local businesses. And it wouldn’t be a celebration without businesses like you joining us!


If your small business is interested in participating, please register here. by November 20. We will help get the word out about shopping locally at the beginning of the holiday season.

Small Biz Week Awards

The SBA Tennessee District Office is accepting applications for the 2026 National Small Business Week Awards. Submit nominations by December 8.

  • Woman-owned Small Biz of the Year
  • Rural Small Business of the Year
  • Small Business Inventor of the Year

All nominated small businesses must have received some form of SBA assistance such as counseling through SBA Resource Partners, financial assistance, exporting assistance, THRIVE participant, 8a participant, etc.

Internship Job Fair

Pellissippi State Community College's  Blount Campus Fall 2025 Internship Fair will be held October 28 from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Steve & Ruth West Workforce Development Center, Rooms WB 121 & WB 122.  We would like to welcome your involvement!

Get Involved in the 8th Grade Career Exploration Fair

We are excited to invite companies to demonstrate and/or sponsor the 8th Grade Career Exploration Fair on Wednesday, October 22, at the Airport Hilton.


This event brings together 8th graders from across Blount County to explore the diverse range of industries and job opportunities available in our area through engaging hands-on activities.

The Blount County Chamber of Commerce has a “shop small” program which is a series of two separate shopping passports that encourage consumers to visit local establishments while earning the reward of prize incentives. 

 

Each visit to a participating retailer qualifies as an entry to win a gift certificate from a local business worth at least $25.
