WHAT'S THE BUZZ ABOUT?

PUT YOUR MONEY$$$ where your interests are. Here's an article on all of the companies removing DEI from their hiring targets: https://www.forbes.com/sites/conormurray/2025/02/27/paramount-rolls-back-diversity-hiring-targets-here-are-all-the-companies-cutting-dei-programs/

Be your own leader. Make a conscientious decision where to spend your money, or better yet invest in the local community that you are a part of. Our Ancestors provided a great model of boycotts, lets pick up the torch they've handed to us.

Rest in Peace and Power

ROBERTA FLACK, NEELY FULLER JR.

ROBERTA FLACK

May she rest in Peace and Power. The memories she created with her pure tones and earnest heart will last for many lifetimes. Here's a playlist of her award winning songs. In 2023 she cowrote a book called, "The Green Piano." The book follows young Roberta growing up in a musical household, yearning for a piano of her own. Her parents, despite limited means, find a discarded, beat-up green piano and bring it home for her. With dedication and passion, Roberta learns to play, setting her on a path to becoming the legendary musician she is today.

This inspiring tale highlights perseverance, family support, and the power of music to transform lives. It encourages young readers to pursue their dreams, no matter their circumstances.
