Cherrill Spencer, Medea Benjamin, Charlotte Dennett
WILPF US DISARM/END WARS Committee Co-Chair CHERRILL SPENCER shares recommended actions from the Peace In Ukraine Coalition.
CODE PINK’s MEDEA BENJAMIN will share information about her new book WAR IN UKRAINE: Making Sense of a Senseless Conflict. She will share Code Pinks’ own recommendations for action, and she’ll share a video that CODEPINK created, in hopes that WILPF members will host watch parties to explain the facts behind the history and current conflict.
CHARLOTTE DENNETT, former Middle East Correspondent and author of The Crash of Flight 3804: A Lost Spy, a Daughter’s Quest, and the Deadly Politics of the Great Game for Oil tracks the history of geopolitical conflict. She will weigh in on how OPEC’s recent decision to halt oil production plays into the Ukraine conflict and will influence US elections.
This will be the last ONE WILPF Call of 2022. Please encourage members to attend.
