Dr. Kim Stackhouse-Lawson and AgNext Students Present to Colorado State University Board of Governors 

Earlier this month, AgNext team members presented to the Colorado State University Board of Governors highlighting the critical work happening within our research collaborative. Dr. Kim Stackhouse-Lawson spoke about AgNext’s initiatives, and AgNext graduate students (Maya Swenson & Marisa Werner) and research interns (Erin Burke & Catie Wharton) shared how their experiences with AgNext are shaping their future careers.

AgNext Faculty Travel Internationally

Members of the AgNext team have been busy sharing our cutting-edge research with global audiences. Recently, Dr. Diego Manriquez presented at the European Conference on Precision Livestock Farming in Italy, Dr. Pedro Carvalho spoke at BeefTalks 2024 in Mexico, Dr. Sara Place contributed to the Global Conference for Sustainable Beef in Uruguay, and Dr. Kim Stackhouse-Lawson participated in the 25th UANL Feedlot Cattle Symposium in Mexico.

Cattle Arrive at the Climate-Smart Research Facility

The AgNext team recently welcomed 120 steers from the Central Plains Experimental Range to the Climate-Smart Research Facility. Within a few days, the animals acclimated to the facility and are utilizing the GreenFeed and SmartFeed machines.
