Help find their perfect people

Greetings!

Every animal who comes through our doors is special, but some need extra help finding their special humans. Today we’re featuring just a few of these incredible pets with a plea to share their stories and help them find their incredible people.

Meet Walt, an 8-year-old hound-mix with a heart as big as his impressive nose. After losing his person, Walt had to start over. The sweet older gentleman still has plenty of love to give, and he’s ready to share it with someone.

Walt loves to nuzzle under your arm, lean in for a good scratch behind the ears, and explore the world with his remarkable hound nose. And if he has something to say, you’ll hear it! Walt loves to sing about his feelings, making sure his opinions are never in doubt.

Walt is looking for a person who will see an older dog not as the end of the story, but as the beginning of a beautiful new chapter.

Nina is a 4-year-old pittie mix who is equal parts cuddle bug, playmate, and professional couch potato. Full of life and affection, she makes herself right at home wherever she is.

When Nina gets excited, she snorts. She loves being close to her people, whether that means curling up beside you or getting silly and playful.

Nina is looking for a cat-free home because, in her opinion, cats are simply far too exciting to ignore.

If your ideal dog wants to be your shadow, snuggle buddy, and is the source of daily laughter, Nina may be the girl for you. If you also snort when laughing, that is a plus!

Some friendships are simply meant to be. Lawanna and Nacho found theirs in each other.

Lawanna is deaf, blind, and a little wobbly, but those differences don’t define her. She has figured out how to navigate her world in her own way, sniffing out her food and water and confidently going about her day.

Then there was Nacho.

A kitten when they met, Nacho seemed to understand that Lawanna experiences the world differently. He approaches her gently, stays close, and has naturally become her eyes and ears. Before long, the two were inseparable.

Now they are looking for a quiet place with kind, patient people who will let them settle in at their own pace.

At 16 years young, Tudball knows exactly what he wants out of life: comfort, companionship, and someone who appreciates a good chirpy greeting. He is happiest when he can be beside you.

Tudball is carrying a few extra pounds, but there’s no medical issue behind his chunky figure! He’s simply a very enthusiastic appreciator of the good life.

Tudball isn’t asking for much. Just a comfortable place to land, a person who enjoys a quiet companion, and plenty of affection. After 16 years of life, he’s ready for a home where he can spend his golden years feeling safe, cherished, and very much at home

If you know who these beautiful pets belong with, please share. It takes all of us to find the right loving homes for our most exceptional pets.
