STONE TOWER MISSION:
To Seek & Save the Lost
| | |
Hi everyone,
I hope and pray that you had a blessed week. I'm back from my anniversary trip with my wife and am rested and grateful for the time away. :)
I'll be at Stone Tower this Sabbath and the next. The message impressed on my heart is "The 10 Commandments of Human Relationships, Part 1: The Ministry of Attention." Please keep this message in prayer as I prepare to share it.
Our Nominating Committee is underway, and I ask that you continue to lift our team in prayer as they seek the Lord's guidance in filling leadership roles for the coming year.
Just a reminder that our Family Meeting is this Sabbath, October 17, after the potluck. Our main topic will be Evangelism Brainstorming, so please come with your ideas and a heart ready to seek the Lord's direction together.
| | | |
I am also in talks with our leadership about when Pastor Jim John, the pastor of Journey SDA Church, can come and give training on sermon-based community groups. Journey is the fastest-growing SDA church in the Pacific Northwest, and Pastor Jim will be sharing the principles that he follows. I would love for all of you to be present, to listen, and to glean what would work in our setting. We are projecting possibly early November, so please keep this in prayer as we work out the details.
"Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others."
Philippians 2:4 (NKJV)
Blessings,
David Kokiong
