CHAMBER SHOWCASE: Liberty Council Outdoor Lab

The Outdoor Adventure Lab provides exciting and transformative experiences for youth and adults in a safe setting through outdoor education and recreation. With a focus on academic

success in STEM, our program is committed to providing both youth and adults with opportunities to achieve academic success through outdoor education, character building, and leadership development.

We welcome schools for field trips, youth groups for a fun day

outdoors, or adults for teambuilding and fun. For schools who bring your students to participate with us, our program is aligned with the Pennsylvania standards. The Outdoor Adventure Lab is a subsidiary of the Cradle of Liberty Council, Scouting America.

Harness The Power of Outdoor Learning

We provide hands on opportunities for youth to learn about Pennsylvania wildlife, ecology, and STEM. Our academic activities are Pennsylvania Educational Standard aligned when possible and our recreational activities are fun and provide life lessons on safety, leadership, communication and more! All of our experiences can be customized to your groups needs!

Outdoor Education & STEM

Observe, identify, and explore diverse ecosystems, habitats, adaptations, and more in Pennsylvania’s forests. The outdoors offer unique opportunities and benefits that can’t always be replicated in the classroom.

Recreation with Purpose

Our recreational activities are fun and an excellent way to get outdoors. We believe that everyone can have fun, while also developing life, career, and social skills.

Teambuilding Challenges

Our challenges are unique workshop style activities that allow students to investigate, explore, and problem solve. These challenges, will give everyone the opportunity to strengthen their communication, leadership, and teamwork skills with games, activities, puzzles, and more!

Challenges can also focus on an academic topics or subjects.

STEM Adventure Summer Day Camp

In addition to Field Trips and group outings, we offer a summer day camp program called the STEM Adventure Day Camp. We welcome youth from across the area to join us for a curriculum that mixes STEM activities with outdoor fun! Join us this coming July for a week, or for our whole Summer of program!

Chamber Showcase

The Chamber Showcase, a contribution-based feature that will be shared via the Chamber website, emails, and social media channels. All we ask is that you submit an article and photo(s) that we can use in this new regular feature. Our goal is to publish this column on a regular basis (bi-weekly or monthly, depending on the content we receive), so the more member businesses and organizations that send us material, the better. This can be content highlighting an employee, a milestone, or sharing your expertise on an industry topic.
