Maestra at Milken!

As we enter 2025, Maestra Green’s role as Milken Community School’s Inaugural Performing Arts Scholar in Residence continues to strengthen our vision of building bridges through music.

Enjoy photos below of Noreen guest-conducting Milken ensembles in their fall concert. Milken Community School music students also volunteered for our December education program, A Patchwork of Cultures, connecting with diverse elementary-age students from across LA. Milken’s Kol Echad ensemble even appeared alongside the LAJS for a rousing performance of "Ocho Kandelikas!"

Through our partnership, Maestra Green continues to inspire the next generation, reinforcing our commitment to education and collaboration while establishing a lasting legacy of Jewish music. Stay tuned for more information about Milken Community School's spring concert on May 22!

Maestra Green Guest-Conducts "Oklahoma!"

Come on out to the Old West with VOPA at the historic El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood. Two incredible casts will alternate between 8 performances over two weekends. If you saw VOPA’s Fiddler on the Roof, last June, you’ll recognize some favorites on stage, including Tevye himself, Dylan F. Thomas. This is a production not to be missed, so bring your family along and enjoy the ride!
