- Why Sponsor Impact100 Martin

Dear members and friends:
I hope you enjoyed the holiday season and are still in the mode of wishing friends and family a Happy New Year. I chuckle every time I do that in the context of Impact100 Martin activities because, for us, this feels more like the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl, not a “new year”.
Our Grants Committee is busy evaluating Letters of Intent from excited nonprofits. Our Events Committee is planning the Grant Awards Celebration. Our Membership Committee is go-go-go with Meet & Mingles and renewal reminders. Today, we stand at more than 300 members for the 2024-2025 season which is super-exciting.
Can we get to 500 members and five $100,000 Impact Grants? We can with your help!
- If you haven’t renewed because you were waiting for a new tax year, we are in it! See the Membership Report for your link to renew.
- If you have been meaning to invite your “Plus One” to an event, we have many exciting opportunities over the next six weeks. See the Upcoming Events section for all our offerings and links to sign up.
- If you need to coordinate with your wealth advisor about using a Donor Advised Fund or IRA, now is the time. The coordination of requests, check distribution and receipt on our end can take a few weeks. If you wait until mid-February, it could be too late.
I would like to give one more shout out to the Member Engagement Committee for creation of the Culture Club and Impactful Conversations. Attendance so far shows these are meeting a need for connection and education about the issues facing Martin County. Please join us and see for yourself what an impact this is having!
And three cheers to the Visioning Team, working with nonprofits to prepare themselves for the Letter of Intent process. Their work is segregated from that of the Grants Committee, so we don’t know which letters we received were as a result of Visioning sessions until after the Grants have been awarded. But we know that every hour invested in boosting the confidence of local nonprofits to dream big is an hour well-spent.
I hope you can see the intentionality of our work to build relationships with the nonprofits and with each other as members of this unique organization. Community transformation is all about relationships!
Thank you for joining us on this journey. Please know how thankful we are for your membership, your advocacy and your generosity, no matter the form it takes.
With gratitude for your generosity no matter the form it takes,
| Maureen Cotter, President | |

Thank You Breakfast for Impact100 at Tykes and Teens Walk-in Assessment Center Open House
Join us on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 8:30am to witness the transformational change from the Impact100 Martin grant! As one of our four 2023-2024 Grant Recipients, we will see the renovations and additions made with the $100,000 Impact Grant.
Tykes & Teens has established a walk-in clinic for children’s behavioral health care needs. Since opening in August, the Tykes & Teens Walk-in Assessment Center has successfully linked children and their families to much-needed resources and helped many children avoid a crisis. The biggest success is that the feedback from both parents and the community has been very supportive, and everyone expresses this as a much-needed service that was missing in the continuum of care.
See firsthand how your generosity is making a difference in our community at Tykes & Teens - Walk-in Assessment Center.

Dawn Dipzinski was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She moved to Stuart with her husband in 2021 after a heart failure diagnosis ended her career in sales and interior design. “Your perspective on life changes after a dramatic health event like that, and we decided to embark on a new life adventure!”. Dawn learned about Impact100 Martin while attending an event with Jacqui at the Florida Oceanographic Institute, and they both decided to join and participate in the Member Engagement committee. Being involved in Impact100 Martin has helped Dawn meet many amazing women and better understand the Martin County community.
Jacqui Costanzo moved to Sewall’s Point from New York City in 2010 after meeting her husband, Peter, in East Hampton. A seasoned real estate professional and former Associate Broker in Manhattan, Jacqui now brings her expertise to Martin County as part of One Sotheby’s International Realty at Harbor Bay Plaza. Her connection to Impact100 Martin began after selling a home to Dawn, who became both a friend and partner in philanthropy. Together, they joined Impact100 Martin, drawn by its mission to create meaningful change in the community. As co-captains of their neighborhood and active members of the Member Engagement team, Jacqui and Dawn recruit like-minded women eager to make a difference while fostering camaraderie within the organization. Jacqui’s dedication to real estate and community service embodies her passion for building strong, vibrant connections.

PNC Private Bank has been a proud sponsor of Impact100 Martin since 2019. Within the Bank and across the communities we serve, we recognize the importance of supporting organizations like Impact100 Martin, who are inspiring women to recognize that philanthropy is power.
As wealth, businesses and investment portfolios are shifting into women’s hands at a record pace, women are taking the lead and making an impact with their own unique approaches to giving. Philanthropy is transitioning from a prescriptive model, where the goal is to make the donor feel good about a donation, to a catalytic model, which seeks to deploy capital to solve problems.
| |
Tracy Sorzano, senior vice president and Wealth Strategy regional manager for PNC Private Bank, suggests that the most important step in determining a philanthropic focus might be to ask yourself, “Why?” Sorzano is a founding member of Impact100 Martin and has served on both the Advisory Board and Events Committee. She was drawn to the spirit of Impact – a shared desire to improve the community through collective giving, knowing that pooled resources can make a greater impact than individual contributions could make.
|
|
As wealth continues to shift to women over the next decade, women’s influence over philanthropy will continue to grow. Actions speak louder than words, and the steps women take today to deploy capital to solve the problems they care about most can have global economic implications in the future. PNC’s dedicated teams have the knowledge, experience, and desire to ease financial complexities and deliver peace of mind to help our clients achieve their financial purpose. So, let’s get started.
PNC Private Bank is part of the PNC Asset Management Group (AMG), which is a member of The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. (NYSE: PNC).
