Celebrating Decades of Service
For decades, Linda Sandridge has helped make our church-wide dinners welcoming, organized, and special.
Those who have worked alongside her describe her as incredibly organized, an excellent planner, and extremely hardworking. But what stands out most is the way she makes her team feel appreciated. When she asks you to help, you know it will be well done—and that your contribution will matter.
As she steps down from organizing our church-wide dinners, we’re grateful for the time, care, and countless details she has poured into this ministry. Thank you, Linda, for helping create a place where people feel welcomed and at home at Northbrook.

It's Okay to Be Human . . .
We’re brought up to be strong, self-sufficient, independent people. We tend to think that if we ask for help, it’s a sign of weakness. So we try to keep our struggles hidden, stuffed deep inside. However, that’s not God’s plan. Galatians 6:2 says, “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” God wants us to care for others—and allow others to care for us in our time of need
If you’re sad or struggling inside, don’t suffer alone. Ask for help. We’ve got a team of Stephen Ministers who are ready to listen, care, encourage, pray, and help you through a tough time.
To learn more or connect with a Stephen Minister, visit our Stephen Ministry page or talk with Stephen Leaders, Mike Johnson or Vicki Barbre.

Your gifts help ease hardship and foster financial stability in our community. Together, all neighbors flourish.
Here's how to give: Give online and select "Second Mile Offering" from the drop-down Fund menu. Or mail a check to the church office and indicate "Second Mile Offering" on the memo line.
