Announcing! – Results from 2023 Board Elections

The Nominations Committee is pleased to announce the results from our Election.

Who are the incoming Board members and results of votes?

The incoming members for the four Board positions are:

• Ginger Harris (Boston Branch) – Bard Secretary: term ends January 2027
• Cee' Cee' Anderson (Metro Atlanta Branch) – Personnel Committee Chair: term ends January 2026
• Martha Collins (Milwaukee Branch) and Marybeth Gardam (Jane Addams Branch/At Large) – Development Committee Co-Chairs: term ends January 2026
• Tina Shelton (Philadelphia Branch) – At Large Board Member: Term ends January 2027

The incoming members will be added to the Board at the January 27^th meeting.

All four of the proposed Bylaws amendments passed:



• #1 – Section IV. A. Amendment: Removed the (no longer existing) US Member of the International Board from the Board members
• #2 – Section IV. C. and D. Amendment: Removed the US Member of the International Board from the descriptions of ex officio Board members
• #3 – Section V.B. Amendment: Provided for the appointment and defines the terms of the new International leadership positions.
• #4 – Section VI. B Amendment: Removed staff from the membership of the standing committees.

The 2023 Nominating Committee did a great job, and their efforts are appreciated! Additionally, a big thank you to Laura Dewey for her work on the preparation, printing, and mailing of the ballot packet.
