Life Together: What Christian Community Means |

Join Pr. Brooks on Sunday mornings at 8:30am for a five-week study of Dietrich Bonhoeffer's classic Life Together. This book's five chapters on community, life as a Christian, discipleship and ministry, and sharing true communion in Christ is a great way to dig deeper into the questions and considerations raised by the just-finished class on Confession & Absolution.

Participants will want their own copy of Life Together to fully participate in the class discussion.

To Be a People Able to be Church Wherever We Are |

REACH OUT to a friend who is an outsider to the Christian faith. Arrange to meet for lunch or coffee, or go on a walk together. Let the goal of your time together be to listen. Really get to know him or her by asking good questions.

Would You Rather? | Check out the bulletin board above the water fountains outside of the Fellowship Hall this Sunday for a new Would You Rather- watch Jesus walk on water or watch Jesus heal a blind man? Cast your vote and feel free to discuss why you chose what you chose this Sunday!

Grace Community Farmers Market

Ministry Spotlight - Grace Community Farmers Market

The Grace Farmers' Market is a ministry that grew out of the Racial Reconciliation group. It was launched in 2024 and takes place on the 2nd Saturday of each month from April to October, running from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the church’s lower parking lot. The market’s goal is to support local Durham farmers and vendors of color, and address food insecurity in collaboration with the Walltown Food Ministry. We strive to share faith stories about what God is doing in our lives and aim to build relationships within the community connecting people with Jesus.
