Your gifts appreciated

This Sunday is our monthly in-gathering for the Necessity Pantry at St. Michael's, a joint ministry of the Episcopal churches in eastern Jackson County.

The Necessity Pantry exists to provide personal hygiene items to those in need. Specifically the pantry offers shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, disposable razors, shaving cream, bath soap, lotion, deodorant, laundry detergent, toilet paper, feminine hygiene and incontinence products free of charge.

Your contributions of these items or cash donations help support this vital ministry.

Last service next Wednesday

This year Resurrection joined again with other Blue Springs churches in the sharing of food, fellowship and worship during Lent. Each Wednesday in Lent, a local church hosted a meal beginning at 5:30 pm, followed by a Lenten community service.

The last service for 2024 will be held at Good Shepherd Christian Church in Blue Springs next Wednesday, March 20.

Workers on-site this Monday

A contract for the completion of the Narthex addition has been executed with a new construction firm and workers will be on-site beginning this Monday.

As stated in Fr. Jonathan's e-mail earlier this week, we will be using the long downstairs classroom for storage of materials during the final construction phase. Please use the undercroft for the activities you would otherwise have done in the classroom.

The Vestry thanks the congregation for your patience and understanding.
