| | | Why liking, commenting, and sharing on social media matters! | Engagement (likes, comments, shares) can increase a post’s organic reach significantly, sometimes by over 50% compared to low-engagement posts! | | |
You’ve probably seen businesses ask for likes, comments, and shares— here’s why it matters!
Following a local business keeps you connected and helps boost its credibility and visibility, making it more likely that new customers will discover them.
Liking the post signals to social media algorithms that the content is valuable, increasing the chances it will be shown to more people.
Commenting creates stronger engagement, helping posts reach a wider audience while also building relationships between the business and its community.
Sharing is one of the most powerful actions—it puts the business in front of your own network and acts as a personal recommendation, which people are far more likely to trust.
Word-of-mouth—especially through digital sharing—has a major influence on purchasing decisions.
People are far more likely to trust a recommendation from someone they know than from a business itself.
