19th Annual Forget-Me-Not Walk Success
John Trombetta, Executive Director of Alzheimer's Project, here with an update on the walk! We had nearly 200 virtual walkers participate in the 19th Annual Forget-Me-Not Walk. Our generous sponsors Hopewell In-Home Senior Care, Capital Health Plan, and TMH Memory Disorder Clinic were so gracious to help us in this effort. I also want to give a big thanks to Visiting Angels. Thanks to their $5,000 challenge gift in the last week of the event, we were able to hit our fundraising goal of $25,000!

With your support of our online fundraisers, we gained additional funds towards our goal. Some of you purchased "I support Alzheimer's Project" shirts while others did their holiday shopping through the Kendra Scott Shop for Good event. All of these purchases gave back to our mission. Thank you!

There were a few individuals who were extremely dedicated to this event too! Phil Nowicki did a fantastic job of building his team and raising an impressive $8,800! Thank you Phil and Friends for your generous support. Bruce Ritchie used his Birthday Facebook Fundraiser to support the walk to the tune of $5,000.

We had walkers from as far away as California and Michigan that helped support us. This year felt different. It felt different in a good way. We couldn’t see all of you walking and cheering and talking and laughing, but we felt the inspiration and love with every step you took. Thanks to all who participated and sponsored. Because of you, we are able to help your families, friends and neighbors make the journey a little easier.
