November 12: Last Day to Cast Your Ballot! Keep an eye out for your electronic ballot if you opted in previously; otherwise, our management company will be mailing out ballots shortly. Every vote counts in shaping the future of Bellalago!

Distinction from Personal Information: While the law protects board members' personal contact information, official emails created for HOA purposes (e.g., "boardmember@hoa.com") are distinct. They are often classified as association records, especially if used for communication regarding association business. Thus, limiting access to these official emails could be seen as contravening the transparency mandate under Florida law​ (HOA ALLIANCE) and/or (FLORIDA CONDO & HOA LAW BLOG)


HOA Policies and Transparency: Many Florida HOAs set up specific policies that endorse the use of dedicated official email accounts for board-related communications. This ensures that communication remains accessible to members while protecting personal privacy. Official HOA email addresses help maintain professionalism and transparency, allowing homeowners to communicate concerns or requests to board members directly and openly​
