Freied Consulting

No call centers, no jargon. When you call, you get me.

Get to know Freied Consulting in their own words!

Freied Consulting is a one-person IT consulting and management shop based right here in McKinleyville.

I'm Cameron Freie, professional nerd.

I help small businesses tame their technology and work smarter, not harder: security with 24/7 monitoring, Microsoft 365 and cloud, backups that are actually tested, networks and Wi-Fi, business phones, and honest IT budgeting.

No call centers and no jargon; when you call, you get me. After 30 years in IT, my goal is simple: to be the trusted local technology partner for Humboldt County small businesses.

No call centers, no jargon.

When you call, you get me.

I've been paid to work with computers since I was thirteen, over 30 years now. And I'm always my own first customer: every tool I recommend runs on my own business before I ever sell it to a client, so nobody pays me to experiment on them.

There's no hard sell. We'll know quickly whether I can help. If I can't, I'll point you to someone who can.

My wife and I recently made McKinleyville home, and we've been loving exploring the coast and the trails.

Fun Facts:

My first paying computer job came at age thirteen, and I never stopped.

Thirty-plus years later, I still keep a full lab of servers and test machines at home, so a client's network never has to be the experiment.
