Dear Greetings!
Greetings of love and peace from Ben Chinnappan, the Director of Dalit Solidarity. I wish you and your families a Blessed Easter. I pray that you and your loved ones remain in good health and enjoy peace & happiness. Your generosity has made a difference in the lives of countless individuals, and we are deeply grateful for your help and kindness. In the fast-moving world, people have no time to sit and talk with others; they have shut their ears to listen to the cry of the poor, and there is no time for people to see what is happening next door. Though the world is less generous, less charitable, and less courageous, there are people like you who dedicate themselves to serving others and remain superheroes of charity and compassion. For the past 24 years, Dalit Solidarity has served as a lifeline to those living at the fringes of society and brightened the lives of poor, marginalized children, abandoned widows, and drop-out girls. I credit all our success to God Almighty, your generosity, kindness, and above all, your prayers. I would like to share the joy of how our programs are impacting those we serve. You are the reason for our success and accomplishments. THANK YOU!

EMPOWERING THE TRIBAL CHILDREN
|
For the last two years, we have been motivating tribal communities especially children to schools. Both the Irulars & gypsies are often considered as one of the most marginalized indigenous communities in South India, facing various social, economic, and political challenges. Dalit solidarity has been providing access and opportunities to education, health care, legal aid, and training. We have offered tailoring programs for more than 50 tribal girls for livelihood opportunities. Our initiatives have built trust and solidarity and won their confidence.

SPONSOR A CHILD & GIVE THEM HOPE
|
Education and development are great tools for social empowerment and emancipation. For many children, school is just a dream. Through poverty and exploitation, they are deprived of education, and, therefore, opportunities in life. Education is the key to providing children with the knowledge, and skills to earn a living, leading to a healthier, more productive life. St. Patrick’s Academy is one of the innovations to provide affordable and quality education to children who come from rural areas and marginalized communities.

|
Most children live in abject poverty, and hence, they are forced to drop out of school and become child laborers. Since 2000, thousands of children have graduated from the academy with flying colors. Some have achieved great success, making Dalit Solidarity proud. Please sponsor a child for ($30 monthly or $ 360 Yearly)

EMPOWERING CHILDREN WITH LIBRARY
|
Life Empowerment is a resource center to empower the marginalized children with literacy program. Both the Dhoby and cobbler children are benefiting out of this educational program. Shaunya Kumar, a 10th grade student from Minneapolis has volunteered to work with us and helped the children with a library to cultivate reading habits. More than 50+ students are enrolled in this program. Your generosity has enabled us to provide essential resources, including textbooks, learning materials, and teaching aids. You can equip our library with $100 for books.

EMPOWERING THE AGED & WIDOWS
|
The Agape old age has made significant strides in addressing the needs of elderly individuals, offering them a dignified and peaceful environment. Despite challenges, the home is now providing care and support to 50+ elderly through access to nutritious meals, improving their health and overall well-being. We spend some quality time with them through listening. You can empower them by donating a cow ($500) or goats ($300) for their livelihood. You can also sponsor a weekend meal ($100).

The poor and the marginalized always live-in hope – hope of bettering their lives and rising to stand in equality with their fellow human beings. This hope is realized through people like you. Small or large, your donation will pave the way to a bright and limitless future for our children and widows.
Your support will enable us to continue our mission. Stewardship is an integral part of everything we do — because we recognize that every resource entrusted to us can transform real children's lives. All your donations are tax-deductible as permitted by the IRS. You can also donate online at dalitsolidarity.org. You can make a check payable to Dalit Solidarity and mail to P.O. Box 178995, San Diego, CA 92177. Please contact us at dalitsolidarity@gmail.com or at 708-612-4248.
I pray along with my friends and families that you and your loved ones enjoy God's abundant blessings of joy, peace, and happiness all time. Wishing you again a Joyful Easter 2024!
