Snacking at the Mississippi Farmers Market

February is National Snack Food Month, which provides a great opportunity to focus on healthy snacking! The Mississippi Farmers Market is the perfect spot to highlight healthy snacks. There are always fresh fruits and veggies to make snack trays with. You can also find fresh baked goods at the market that are made with fresh quality ingredients and great to eat in between meals. Fresh shrimp, beef, and eggs are all great to add protein throughout the day and snacking recipes are endless. As February comes to a close we hope that you will take a look at what you are eating throughout the day and ask yourself if you could snack better. The Mississippi Farmers Market will have all you need Saturday to switch you junk food snacks to healthier options.
