Native American Heritage Month

November 2023

Every month is Native American Heritage Month for Dream A World Education. We are especially honored to celebrate our Native American Teaching Artists this November. Native American artists are featured in 14 episodes of Seedlings, the Secrets of the Heart® TV series for preschool and universal transitional kindergarten. They share their culture, unique art forms based on reverence for “Mother Earth”, and “secrets” like learning, tradition and respect. We are currently in discussions with multiple Pueblos in New Mexico, with the possibility of teaching "Secrets" to children in Native languages, like Tewa, to support language and cultural preservation within our Native American partner communities.
