November 25, 2019
Dear All Saints' Parents and Families,
Happy Thanksgiving All Saints'!

If you have kids off all week and maybe a few extra visiting with you, here are a couple of ideas of ways to help them think about things for which they are grateful.

Post an "I Am Thankful For…" poster for all your guests to write a word by each letter that describes something they are thankful for – kids love this game and it can get silly and fun (example: avocados, alligators and Aunt Betty)!
Take a journal or notebook and have everyone write one thing in 2019 that they are especially grateful for – you can also do this with an iPad or phone and send everyone the video.

Do something for someone else.  Rake leaves for a neighbor, bake cookies for the fire station near you, come help give away Blessing Bags at the Covenant Community Thanksgiving Dinner, or any of a thousand other small acts of kindness.

These are just a few ideas that might help your family be intentional about looking at their many blessings and practicing how to BE thankful.

Hope you have a wonderful holiday full of love and kindness,

Kathy
