Here’s what we’re doing to address concerns of maintaining a safe environment so we can be here for you when you need us:
We like to brag about our cleaning! We do cleaning well. Our centre is likely safer than the mall, the grocery store, and thousands of other places where cleaning is not done as well as we do it!
- Established Cleaning Protocols. We have always had a protocol of cleaning all surfaces with a medical grade disinfectant cleaner. We use Quato 44 - a concentrated detergent, disinfectant, sanitizer, fungicide, virucide and odor counteractant, specially formulated to meet hospital and institution sanitization standards.
- The Best in Air Filtration Systems. Surgically Clean Air offers medical grade air purifiers with superior air cleaning using sophisticated filtration systems. Hospitals, medical labs and dental clinics use these to clean and sterilize their indoor air. The 6-stage filtration system captures airborne bacteria and kills viruses as well as removing dust particles, pollen, volatile organic chemicals (VOCs), mold, allergens, odors, and many other pollutants that are found in the inside air in workplaces. We have 2 of these units - one in each playroom!
We Have Also Taken These Additional Measures:
- Enhanced Cleaning Protocols. We have gone even further. We have increased the frequency of cleaning of all surfaces and especially in the areas where there is interaction with the public.
- Social Distancing. We are careful to keep distance from other team members and clients while in our centre. Anyone with any level of feeling unwell, regardless of how minor, we are asking to not come to our centre, just in case.
- Valet Service. To support the guidance to maintain social distance we are offering clients the added courtesy of us coming out to your car (with a fresh pair of gloves) to bring your dog into the centre. This eliminates the need for you to leave your vehicle to enter the building. Simply call us at 416.561.7387 when you arrive, and we will check you in over the phone and then come out to you and take your dog from your back seat or hatch.
- Gloves. If you prefer to come into our centre, during our regular hours, we have placed a box of gloves outside the front door for your use to protect yourself when opening the doors and touching any surfaces. After exiting the building use the covered foot-pedal-operated garbage bin to discard the gloves.
- Daycare. Working from home over the next few weeks can pose some unique challenges, and social distancing doesn’t have to affect your dog. Is your dog jumping all over you as you try to work from home? Maybe both of you would do better if they came to daycare for some playtime and exercise. Our daycare is open for business!
- Grooming. Got a stinky dog in your space? Let us freshen them up for you. Call us at 416.561.7387 to book grooming or a bath.
