I hope this message finds you well. As we reflect on the challenges and triumphs of 2023, we are grateful for your continued support and trust in Duravent Group (DVG). Despite the economic uncertainty and post-COVID destocking pressures, we remained resilient by staying flexible and focusing on customer satisfaction. Looking ahead to 2024 and beyond, we are committed to becoming a more nimble and highly focused customer-centric organization. To that end, I’m excited to announce some organizational changes that will further strengthen our ability to serve you better.
The Hearth Distribution and HVAC Wholesale sales organizations have merged into one Residential Channel. I’m honored and humbled to be chosen to lead this group. Along with my team, I am eager to provide you with unparalleled service, helping you grow for years to come. The Customer Experience team will mirror our regions to help with continuity and ease of doing business with us. This change comes on the heels of the announcement that longtime employee and Hearth Distribution Sales Vice President, Todd Lampey retired at the end of 2023. Todd, an icon in the industry, retired after 26 years of service. His knowledge and professionalism will be missed. Along with Todd’s announcement, we say goodbye to long-time Regional Sales Manager, Phil Canby. Phil spent the last nine years managing sales in the Pacific Northwest. My team and I will work tirelessly to ensure we don’t miss a step.
Along with the Sales and Customer Experience realignment, I would like to announce the formation of a Sales Channel Operations team as part of our ongoing commitment to strategic growth. Mark Walraven has been named as the leader of this new group and brings a wealth of experience to this position. Mark's team will collaborate closely with the business unit sales teams to ensure sales excellence.
