Capital Projects Updates Available

Several major projects are underway in Sunnyvale to improve infrastructure, roadways and provide for beautification. Residents and others who are interested and check the Town Projects page on the Town website for the latest information on these projects.

Saving Water = Saving Money

Remember, your annual wastewater rates are based on your water consumption during the months of December, January and February, which can save you about $200 each year.

Reducing indoor and outdoor water use this winter will save you money all year round.

For water conservation tips, visit the Water Resources page on the Town's website.

Consider Adopting a Fuzzy New Family Member!

We were excited to have multiple pets adopted from our shelter during the holidays! That trend seems to be continuing into the new year with the adoption of two dogs and a cat, Ronnie, Argos (now Buddha) and Junior. Let's keep that trend going as we get into the new year. Here are some pets still awaiting a forever home.

Phoebe is a one-year-old female Chihuahua dog: Hi, I'm Phoebe! My days are filled with wagging tails and friendly faces. I'm a small package of love and loyalty. I'm gentle, always ready to give you a soft nuzzle or a cuddly hug. I'm smart too! I've learned so many tricks and commands. I enjoy playtime, but I also love quiet moments, just being near you. I've got a heart full of love to give and I'm looking for a special person to share it with. Adopting me means gaining a faithful companion who will love you unconditionally.

Ratina is a 12-week-old female Domestic Short hair cat: Hi, I'm Ratina, the kitten with a big personality! I'm a bundle of energy, always on the move, chasing imaginary mice or my own tail. I'm goofy too, often surprising everyone with my funny antics. I love to make people laugh. When you're down, I'll be there to cheer you up with my playful antics. I love meeting new people and making new friends. I may be a kitten, but I have a heart full of love to give

.

All pets adopted from the Town of Sunnyvale will be vaccinated, dewormed, spayed or neutered and microchipped. If they have not been done, the adopter will receive a voucher to have them done. All fees are waived to adopt any of our pets.

If your family is ready to add a member, we currently have many adoptable animals in our shelter looking for a new place to call home. Learn more by visiting our Petfinder page or calling (214) 862-4525.
