Last Sunday: THANK YOU from David for making last Sunday "Teacher Sunday" so special. Using his new short story as a parable (but true!) about the wonderful power of words and teaching, we gave roses and had a beautiful cake and went home remembering the great teachers in our lives. Here's the link to David's story sermon... Don't forget to share!
This Sunday, November 1st, is Remembrance Sunday. Our tradition on All Saints' Day is to have a service filled with memory, love, and beautiful music, as we remember the promises of our faith. At both the 9:00 and 10:30 services, our Chancel Choir, soloists, and a guest ensemble of musicians will be offering excerpts from John Rutter's "Gloria" — under the direction of our Dr. Michael Crowley.
If you have lost a loved one in this past year, and would like their name read during this service at the tolling of the bells, please call (203) 259-5596 or click here to email the church office by Friday!
It's also a Church First Sunday ... which means that our Church School kids begin their morning in worship with us at 9:00 a.m., before being dismissed to their classes at 9:20. This way, the kids get to hear some of the beautiful music of our choir and musicians!
Junior Choir meets to practice in the Memorial Room at 8:30 a.m. We would love to have your child join us! Reach out to director Sara Hoefer to learn more!

The need for food deliveries continues to grow. SNUI would like to be able to include more Bridgeport families in their Friday deliveries, however to grow the program, additional drivers will be needed.
We invite you to join a school bus stop patrol group in Bridgeport. Sign up when you are free, get paired with another person or bring a friend and spend an hour helping neighborhood families in Bridgeport feel safer.
