Things That Interest Me...and Maybe You

America's Favorite Regional Potato Chip Brands [Map]
The United States consumes almost 2 billion pounds of potato chips every year, meaning the average U.S. citizen eats over 6 pounds of the snack annually. There are many regional potato chip brands that locals love — and that you probably haven’t heard of unless you’ve been there (yes there is more to it than Frito-Lay.
Take a look at the map below to find out what brand is in your state! Maybe you will find Hot Dog flavored potato chips - I did in one state I lived in.

Piccles (Pronounced Pickles)
A fun thing we started using in my CMP class is...Piccles! Piccles is a virtual engagement tool that allows people to answer different questions or phrases by drawing a picture. This brings out creativity and you can get a gage on how people are in the room. Here are some examples of what people drew in my January Class.

Meet Another "Trooper"
Hi! My name is Sophie Sinclair and I was born and raised in Santa Monica, California. I decided I wanted to move to the east coast for college, where I attended Brandeis University for my undergraduate degree, majoring in Anthropology with minors in Business and Sculpture. I have always been interested in the Hospitality Industry - specifically marketing, social media, and public relations for hotels and restaurants. After graduating from Brandeis, I attended The School of Hospitality Administration at Boston University where I received my masters degree in Hospitality Management. This is where I had the opportunity take a class called Meeting Planning and Special Events Management. Who would have thought this class would be taught by someone who cared so much about her students that she even welcomed me to join her team! Thank you Joanne Dennison for introducing me to the Meetings and Events world!
