There is a passage in the Bible that tells us that "the joy of the Lord is our strength" (Nehemiah 8:10). What does this mean? Can I find in God the kind of joy that actually carries me, a delight that infuses my day to day living. The Book of Philippians answers that question.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY

Join us for an evening of encouragement and fellowship at Wyncote Golf Club in Oxford! Be uplifted and encouraged as you hear the testimonies or our speakers and God's redemptive Plan. Cost is $28 and includes appetizers, buffet dinner of chicken, beef tips, potatoes, green beans, salad and dessert.

NEW LONDON CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL

CLC's preschool is looking for substitutes. If you join us you would not need to teach. There would be a teacher in the classroom. When you are called you have the option to take the job or if it is not convenient, to say no. It would be a valuable service to us and would be fulfilling, as well. This is a paid opportunity.

TAMANI MISSION TRIP KICK OFF MEETING

MISSION MINUTE: TAMANI WORLD CHILDREN PROJECT

We thank God and happy to report the Tamani children are doing well after having recent illness due to the water filtering system needed updating and replacing. The water purification system has now been serviced. 

The children are having medical check-ups that have addressed some individual health concerns along with covering hygiene and self-grooming as they grow. Their third school term has restarted this past month with a focus on personal development and life skills. The children were really excited to receive the letters from CLC sponsors and friends, with many of the kids reading their letters over and over as James said.  

Plans are under way to reconfigure the boys and girls dorms to provide even more separation along with staff to monitor.  

Finally, James and Truphena and family recently were able to have a long weekend vacation to Mombasa that was much needed since Truphena's recovery from cancer.
