We want to celebrate everyone for their hard work on a VERY successful Exhibition week! Across campus on both evenings, students in kindergarten through 8th grade confidently presented their learning, toured visitors, and fielded questions to highlight their beautiful work. Thank you to all the grownups who make this event possible, and for celebrating our students' accomplishments! We are so proud of ALL student presenters. Thank you for supporting this very special Da Vinci Signature Practice!

Learning Log #2 is DUE on Tuesday!

Submit on Tuesday 12/13 by 11:59pm

This Learning Log is particularly time sensitive as we have a very tight turnaround time to evaluate all learning logs and submit our attendance to the state before the year ends! As a reminder we are reliant on attendance for program funding, and our learning logs must be in compliance in accordance with auditor and state rules--please review the FAQ and Tutorial Video in your child's learning log google classroom for clarity on how to properly submit a learning log. PLEASE submit your learning logs completely and on time to avoid a non-compliance letter! You can also reach out to Nancy for additional support if needed.

Del Aire Neighborhood visit from Santa THIS Saturday!

For our families who celebrate Christmas and would like to visit with Santa near their school community, the Del Aire neighborhood has generously invited our families to meet Santa during his tour through the neighborhood this weekend! See the attached photo for his route and tentative visit times!

**CURRICULUM SPOTLIGHT: Gizmos!

Students in grades 3-8 have access to Gizmos from ExploreLearning. These fun and easy to use math and science simulations help students develop a deep understanding of challenging concepts through inquiry and exploration. Students use Gizmos to interact with and explore hundreds of math and science topics ranging from heredity to trigonometry. Gizmos are dynamic "what-if" tools that ignite curiosity and learning.

Parent educators, you should have received an invitation directly from ExploreLearning, as well as these instructions, that will enable you to get up Gizmos up and running quickly and easily. Too, be sure to check out the Gizmos Resources Topic in The Parent Center Google Classroom to view a recorded webinar and access links to task cards, other resources to enhance your Gizmos experience.
