Dear Members and Friends of All Saints:
We eagerly look forward to welcoming Mother Teri Daily as our Priest-in-Charge. Her first Sunday celebrating the Eucharist with us will be November 1, with services at 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Between services, we will gather for coffee and donuts, giving everyone an opportunity to greet Mother Teri and celebrate our ingathering.
As Priest-in-Charge, Mother Teri will focus on celebrating the Eucharist, providing pastoral care and teaching, and supporting the church’s ministries. Because these responsibilities will sometimes take her away from the office, she will be available for individual appointments. Please contact the church office to schedule a meeting.
The Vestry has entered into a Covenant Agreement and a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mother Teri that outline the terms of her service to the parish. As required by the Diocese of Arkansas, Bishop Harmon has approved both documents. Mother Teri’s compensation includes salary and benefits, including health insurance, a housing allowance, travel reimbursement, and vacation time.
As All Saints continues to address the church’s overall operating budget, this appointment is set at 85 percent of full time, or 34 hours per week, with the salary calculated accordingly. This arrangement provides Mother Teri with the flexible time she desires while also supporting the parish’s financial capabilities.
On Sundays when Mother Teri is on vacation or otherwise away in accordance with the terms of the agreement, we will arrange for a supply priest or hold Morning Prayer.
On behalf of the Vestry, we hope you will join us next Sunday, November 1, as we welcome Mother Teri, celebrate the blessings of stewardship, and begin this new chapter in the life of All Saints together.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
Sincerely,
Charles Tyrone
Senior Warden
on behalf of the Vestry
