DON'T MISS THIS EVENT!

Wednesday, July 15, 2026

Randolph G. Russell has made it easy to learn (or re-learn) the basics every citizen should know.  He is the author of American History In No Time, a panoramic view of our entire history – the key events, people, places, and principles – from before Columbus to the founding of the United States and all the way up to the present. The book has been used at a number of colleges, but it is easy for anyone to understand, even children.  It has been endorsed by a number of academics as well as Newsmax host Dick Morris, who calls Russell a voice “shouting in the wilderness.”

The author has spoken to hundreds of audiences across the country – Republican groups and others. He received standing ovations last year when he addressed the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) and the Texas FRW at their respective biennial conventions.

In addition to his expertise in history, Russell is an accomplished musician who has performed in many European countries and throughout the U.S. In business, he held a number of financial management positions with compa-nies in Florida and Georgia. He holds degrees from the University of Miami and the University of Florida.

The Chaplain's Corner

by Dr. Scarlett Griffin, Ed.D., Chaplain

Daniel 2:20-21

“Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his. He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.”

Almighty God and Father, we lift humble hearts with praise and gratitude for Your sovereign wisdom and power. You carried the peoples of America under Your mighty wings until we became one nation under God. We thank You for providing Your unconditional love to those brave pioneers who fled persecution in Europe, seeking religious freedom in this new world.

Lord, we know the courage our forefathers braved as they faced bitter cold winters, withered in summer heat, survived without clothing and supplies, faced the British Empire, the most powerful army in the world and suffered miseries most of us cannot fathom. Lord, You led patriots forward, Your Holy Spirit guiding and blessing them with victory. We see Your love as You led our forefathers with blessings that cannot be measured. Because of Your plan, America is the greatest country in the history of mankind. As Americans, we reflect on what You did guiding the pioneers in their quest for freedom of religion. Thank you, Lord God for blessings given us for 250 years. May we carry Your blessings forward, singing Your praises with unending thanksgiving. In Your holy name we lift our petitions, Amen, and Amen.

P.S.: As a personal note, with the celebration of America 250, I was inspired to watch Ken Burns’ production of The Revolutionary War. There are many versions of the story of those brave pioneers who sacrificed everything they possessed to form the foundation of who we are, why so much was endured and how our ancestors brought mankind the most powerful experiment in history. I encourage each of you reading Chaplain’s Corner to watch the story of who we are. Stand proud reflecting upon the power of our Lord’s mighty hand in guiding those heroes who brought freedom to this land of opportunity.
