🌟 Donor Highlight 🌟

In April, our wonderful friend, Jeanette Hernandez at The Preserve at Woodland Hills, gifted 54 members with gorgeous easter baskets full of toys and goodies. Aside from the gifted baskets, our members also had the opportunity to take a photo with their fluffy friend, the Easter Bunny!

Education

In correlation with the Cooper Literacy Program, once a month our teens go to Blythe Street Elementary, Reseda Elementary and the Gary M. Thomas Clubhouse to read to all the members. Members were separated into groups and read to on the grass and benches.

The Arts

Things got creative with painted bookmarks! Members had a variety of watercolors to choose from and decorate a 2 inch strip of multimedia paper. All of the bookmarks that were created look very different from one another which just goes to show the diversity among the youth at Chatsworth.

Health & Wellness

We love Wellness Wednesdays at Blythe Elementary!

Members enjoyed a refreshing fruit kabob with Coach Evelyn as they learned about the food rainbow during Wellness Wednesday.

Leadership & Service

Mabel is one of our amazing Youth of the Month at Reseda Elementary. She has improved so much within the program and she is helpful, always gets her tasks done, shows respect to her coaches and members, and is always ready for the day!

Sports & Recreation

Coach Dylan and Coach Andrew's teams went head to head in the basketball tournament. Members were able to use their skills and techniques to have a successful game! Great teamwork and sportsmanship that both teams display.
