Big changes are happening in healthcare across the Merrimack Valley! Lawrence General Hospital and the former Holy Family Hospitals in Haverhill and Methuen have united under one name: Merrimack Health.
Inspired by the Merrimack River, the new name and logo reflect strength, connection, and forward momentum. Interim CEO Diana Richardson shared, “We are reaffirming our promise to deliver exceptional care for generations to come.” Physician practices will now be called Merrimack Health Community Medical Associates, and the system has launched MerrimackHealth.org with the motto: “Together we care better.”
The rebranding was celebrated at Holy Family Hospital Methuen with Massachusetts Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll, local leaders, and hospital staff.
