Greetings from C. Darby Ulery, founder of "Let's Go! Fairhope," events-related newsletter, calendar and website resource for Fairhope, Alabama.
We are pleased to welcome over 1,300 readers this week, with website stats coming in at 2.6K views in the past 30 days. Almost 17K members have joined the Facebook group.
It's the last full week before municipal elections are held on Tuesday, August 26. WABF Radio has provided Fairhope candidate interviews here. The City of Fairhope provides a sample ballot here.
There are several opportunities to meet the candidates listed below as well as in the printable and searchable calendars. We don't endorse anyone here, but we welcome events-news and appreciate our community members who sponsor this local information resource.
Shout-out to Samuel Duggar of Faithful Grounds Co. for his contribution towards helping us continue the Let's Go! Fairhope community events project. If you're hosting an event at your home or business, you need the grounds spiffy! Check out Faithful Grounds Co. info below.
Thank you to Dom Zambrano and the Running Wild Fairhope Team for their annual support of Let's Go! Fairhope events-news. Congratulations on celebrating their big 25th birthday bash in Pensacola last week!
You don't have to be a runner to enjoy getting fitted for a pair of comfortable athletic shoes to ease foot pain or benefit from a free gait analysis to discover how to stay fit at any age or ability level. Don't forget, the Thursday 6 PM group meets weekly at McSharry's, and 6AM Saturday long-runs begin at Running Wild on S. Section in downtown Fairhope.
