Environmental Liability Transfer Inc. (ELT) and its affiliate Commercial Development Company, Inc. (CDC) have been acquiring contaminated industrial real estate and assuming environmental remediation obligations since 1990. Purchasing 350+ sites across the US and Canada totaling more than 85,000,000 square feet of buildings and 10,000+ acres of land.

ELT specializes in Liability Transfers, where it steps into the place of the responsible party to assume remediation obligations with the property.

ELT pursues projects under the following four models:

Model 1: Traditional Real Estate - ELT buys properties with no

environmental issues

Model 2: Brownfields - ELT buys properties where the value of

the real estate is greater than the value of the

environmental liability

Model 3: Environmental Liability Transfer with Real Estate -

ELT acquires properties where the value of the

environmental liability is greater than the value of the

real estate

Model 4: Formerly Owner and Operated - ELT acquires

environmental liabilities for sites that are not owned or

controlled by the party responsible for remediation
